Montepulciano d’Abruzzo is a robust and strong grape variety, which needs respect to express its typical personality. Semis is the result of a late harvest and long maceration on the skins. The grapes come from over the years selected vineyards, which we keep as a family heritage.

Grapes: Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 100%
Harvest: First decade of November
Average yield per hectare: 30 hl.
Vinification: Long maceration on the skins. Ageing takes place in wooden barrels for 24 months followed by 12 months in a bottle.
Tasting Notes: Dark garnet red colour with bluish hues. The aroma of mixed berries, blackberry, pomegranate, marasca, cherry, and black truffle, with spicy notes of pepper and cloves. Soft and velvety taste, great structure and persistence.
